CometInfo SaaS Platform

Privacy Policy

At CometInfo ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), we respect the privacy of our users, exhibitors, and event attendees whose data is processed through our digital solutions. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.

By using our website, mobile applications, or associated services, you agree to the practices described in this document.

2

Direct Client Data (Exhibitors and Registered Users)

Registration Information: First name, last name, corporate email, phone, company name, job title, and encrypted password.
Payment Information: Processed entirely by our secure provider Stripe, Inc.. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers; we only store transaction tokens, billing address, and the last 4 digits provided by Stripe.
Event Files and Materials: PDF documents, commercial brochures, company presentations, brand logos, and cloud repository links (Google Drive or Dropbox) uploaded by the exhibitor for booth and digital distribution.
3

Event Attendee Data (Visitors / Leads)

When an exhibitor uses our application or virtual booth to register an attendee's visit:

Contact Data: Name, email, phone, company, job title, gender, country, custom answers, and commercial notes entered by the exhibitor or visitor.
Requested Materials and Files: Specific PDF documents, brochures, product catalogs, and external presentations selected and requested by the visitor for automated digital delivery.
Digital Signature: Digital handwritten signature image captured directly on screen as verifiable proof and audit trail of explicit consent for data processing and material delivery.
Interaction Metrics: Reading time of catalogs or PDF files, specific pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamp of interaction.
4

Use of Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Provide digital contact scanner functionality, automated delivery of requested files/brochures, and dashboard synchronization.
Process payments, subscriptions, and issue invoices through Stripe.
Generate analytical interaction reports for the exclusive use of the exhibitor who captured the data.
Send service notifications, payment receipts, consumption alerts, and customer support.
Golden Rule: CometInfo NEVER uses attendee/visitor data captured at events to send them CometInfo marketing or sell them to third parties.
5

Privacy Roles: Controller vs. Data Processor (GDPR / CCPA)

Regarding exhibitor account and payment data: CometInfo acts as Data Controller.
Regarding event attendees/visitors captured at booths: The exhibitor (our client) acts as the Data Controller, and CometInfo acts strictly as the Data Processor. The exhibitor is responsible for having a lawful basis or consent from the visitor to capture their data during the event.
6

Storage, Security, and Offline Mode

Security & Cryptography: We apply SSL/TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest in secure cloud databases. Digital signatures and requested file records are stored in encrypted cloud storage buckets with access controls.
Offline Operation: Data captured in event environments without internet connectivity is encrypted locally on the user's mobile device until connection is restored for secure synchronization.
7

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. We only share data with essential service providers:

Stripe, Inc.: For secure payment processing and billing.
Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud databases and storage (AWS / Google Cloud / Supabase).
CRM Integrations upon user request: Direct sync to HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zapier when configured.
8

User Rights (ARCO / GDPR / Right to be Forgotten)

Any user or event attendee may exercise their rights under the GDPR and applicable privacy frameworks by emailing privacy@cometinfo.com with guaranteed response within 30 days:

Right of Access and Rectification: Request confirmation of processing and correct inaccurate records.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request permanent deletion of personal data.
