Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to CometInfo. By registering, purchasing a single event pass, or subscribing to our plans, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Service.

Service Description

CometInfo provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution enabling users to capture contact details, deliver digital catalogs, and analyze prospect engagement at commercial trade shows and conferences.

Plans, Pricing, and Payments

Payment Options: We offer Single Event Passes, recurring subscriptions (monthly/annual), and a Free plan subject to usage limits.
Payment Processing: All charges are securely processed through Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorize charges for the selected plan. We never store credit card numbers on our servers.
Automatic Renewal: Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled through the dashboard before the renewal date.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Single Event Passes: Non-refundable once the event has started or the account has been used to capture leads or upload brochures.
Recurring Subscriptions: Users can cancel anytime. Cancellation prevents subsequent recurring charges while maintaining access until the end of the paid billing period.

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

Users agree to:

Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
Use the platform in full compliance with local and international data protection laws (GDPR / CCPA) and anti-spam regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL).
Not collect sensitive personal information without explicit consent from the data subject.

Service Availability and Limitation of Liability

Event Connectivity: Although the platform includes offline capabilities, CometInfo is not liable for Wi-Fi failures, cellular outages, or infrastructure issues originating from convention centers or venues.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall CometInfo be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or business opportunity losses exceeding the total amount paid by the customer in the previous three (3) months.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or within the application at least 30 days in advance.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws in the company's jurisdiction, and any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.
